What is RhinoGear RhinoRamps CoreTRAC?
These car ramps come equipped with their own rubber brake pad on the bottom front of each ramp. The CoreTRAC non-skid base is to prevent any slippage when a car is using them.
As the car enters the ramp, the weight of the car is used to compress the rubber brake pad onto the surface to prevent the ramp from sliding away. Does your Boxster have to be level for the optimal Oil Change?
This is a common debate at PCA meets, Boxster Forums, and FB Groups. Most drivers are unaware that the Boxster Oil Pan has a large baffle installed and a recessed area adjacent to the oil drain hole.
Here is a picture of the internals of a stock oil pan. As you can see having the rear higher than the front is desired due to the channels into the baffle. Rear low or unlevel side to side would trap much more oil. When I dropped this pan I had the rear on ramps approx 4″ higher than the front and had less than 1/2 cup residual oil after draining.

Do Not Use Other Lifting Equipment with RhinoRamps
It is strongly recommended that you never jack up your Boxster when it is on RhinoRamps!!
